TreeHouse Foods, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic A for Crew 2 at our PA Hanover facility. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining production machinery, conveyors, and related equipment in a 12-hour shift pattern from 6:00am to 6:00pm, Thursday through Saturday and alternating Wednesdays.

Overtime may be available. Compensation is $33.22 per hour for the shift. The applicant will follow process documents, perform routine inspections, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime while

Job Description:

About the Role:

The Maintenance Mechanic role at the Hanover location is responsible for performing duties to repair and maintain machinery, equipment, building and facilities requiring a broad knowledge of maintenance skills. Our maintenance mechanics are viewed as an active supporter of lean and preventative maintenance systems. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Install, repair, rebuild, adjust and maintain machinery and equipment used in production which may also involve the dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement of purchased parts.
• Perform various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on conveyors, packaging equipment, production equipment, electrical controls systems and other related plant systems.
• Provides routine inspections and monitoring of all production equipment.
• Performs troubleshooting on equipment and facilities as needed to determine the root cause of problem and perform proper repair.
• Other duties as assigned

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on Crew 2, which operates from 6:00am to 6:00pm - Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday. Availability of Overtime when needed. $33.22 /hr shift.
