Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Machine Operator for Hanover, PA, on the 2nd shift (3:00p–11:00p, Mon–Fri) with overtime on Saturdays. You will operate packing room machines (Hayssens, box machines, tapers, stretch wrap, labelers, sensors), and manage changeovers from production sheets to ensure on-time orders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to follow documented instructions and communicate effectively.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, especially in food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate packing room machines to meet production standards and efficiency targets.
• Review production sheets to anticipate changeovers and assign products to machines.
• Monitor bag weight, code-dates, and quality to minimize waste and defects.
• Perform routine malfunction checks and minor troubleshooting as needed.
• Support overtime or weekend shifts when required.

You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: * Ensures that production standards are met by: operating all packing room machines at specified efficiency (speed). Packing room machines include: Hayssens, box machines, box tapers, stretch wrapper, diverter gates, case labelers and sonic sensors.* Determines upcoming production needs by studying production sheet to anticipate changeovers and assigned products to machines.
