TreeHouse Foods in Hanover, PA is hiring a Machine Operator on Crew B for the 7:00 pm–7:00 am rotating shift. You will operate packing room machines, monitor quality, and prepare materials for the next order.

The role requires following procedures, strong communication, and ability to work overtime and weekends. TreeHouse Foods offers competitive pay and benefits and values diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to follow process documents and work instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, food manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate packing room machines to meet production standards and specified speed.
• Manage equipment like box machines, labelers, and wrapper to support orders.
• Review production sheets to anticipate changeovers and machine assignments.
• Prepare film, dates, stickers, and stamps for next orders.
• Monitor operations for defects and bag waste; perform weight checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

About the Role:

• Ensures that production standards are met by: operating all packing room machines at specified efficiency (speed).
• Packing room machines include: Hayssens, box machines, box tapers, stretch wrapper, diverter gates, case labelers and sonic sensors.
• Determines upcoming production needs by studying production sheet to anticipate changeovers and assigned products to machines.
• Uses this information to have correct film, co-dates, stickers, hot stamps, etc. ready for next order.
• Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions and inspecting product for pleats, leakers, holes, registration, and code-dates to keep within specified bag waste limits.
• Ensures product specifications by completing weight checks on packing lines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Important Details:

• This is a full-time permanent role on Crew B shift, which operates from 7:00pm to 7:00am rotating shift: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 7am. Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7pm to 7am.
• The Hourly rate is $26.75 including shift differential pay.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment - food manufacturing a plus.
• The ability to work overtime and weekends.
