Pratt Industries in Austell, GA is seeking a Machine Helper to assist the Operator in overseeing machine operation and to support the production of items produced on the line. This is a 1st shift, full-time, hourly position on site.

The role requires good communication, basic computer and math skills, and a willingness to be trained as an operator for vacations and sick leave coverage. Environment may be non climate controlled with temperature extremes.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.
• Good math/algebra abilities.
• Able to think through problems and find solutions.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist in machine setup and operation.
• Ensure orders meet specifications.
• Maintain production rates.
• Complete paperwork and data entry as required.
• Assist in training crew members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
