Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Austell, GA. The role handles setup, operation, cleanup, and minor improvements to production lines while ensuring quality checks and adherence to schedules.

Responsibilities include monitoring product quality, assisting helpers, cross-training on other machines, and maintaining safety and accurate reporting. Prior corrugated industry experience is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience is preferred.
• Experience with production equipment or machining is a plus.
• Familiarity with corrugated manufacturing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up the machine, perform cleanup and suggest improvements.
• Monitor quality: check liner, warp, size and print accuracy.
• Train First/Second Helpers and cross-train on other machines.
• Complete production/postings reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping and follow schedule.
