Schweid & Sons is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator Apprentice to assist our experienced Machine Operators. You will help with setup, operation, and maintenance of production machinery as part of a 90-day training program.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, safety-conscious, and committed to high-quality output. During the 90-day training window you will learn the full functions of a machine operator and be prepared to run the production line with guidance from seasoned operators.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of various machinery according to procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery; perform basic repairs as needed.
• Observe experienced operators to gain knowledge and improve skills.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following safety guidelines.
• Record machine operation data and report irregularities to supervisor.
• Perform quality checks to ensure outputs meet standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials onto machines.
• Follow all training and instructions related to machine operation.
