Job summary

Viking Drill & Tool, INC. is hiring a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.) in Minnesota. You will operate grinding machinery, load/unload parts, monitor quality, and make minor adjustments in a team-oriented environment.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and good communication. The company offers ESOP, healthcare, profit-sharing, PTO, and more, with a $1.50 per hour shift premium on 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve stock and materials according to production schedules
• Load and unload drills and parts from machines
• Make minor machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Inspect parts and verify specifications using job cards
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers, rulers, and scopes
• Communicate machine status and quality concerns with Setups and Leads
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Position: Machine Operator, 3rd Shift
• Pay: $24.52/hour - $30.51/hour (wage range reflects base pay. There is a shift differential ofan additional $1.50/hour for 3rd shift)
• Schedule: Sunday Evening- Friday Morning, 10:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m

About the Role

We are hiring a Machine Operator, 3rd shift (10pm – 6:30am). In this role, you will operate grindingmachinery and support daily production by loading and unloading parts, monitoring quality, andmaking minor machine adjustments. This position is ideal for someone who takes initiative, paysattention to detail, and wants to build valuable manufacturing skills in a team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do:

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands to handle drill bits and parts
• Visual ability to inspect and verify quality (close vision, depth perception, color vision, etc.)
• Ability to pass a post-offer physical demonstrating essential job functions
• Ability to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen
