Viking Drill & Tool, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM). You will operate grinding machinery, load/unload parts, monitor quality and make minor adjustments in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Retrieve stock and materials according to production schedules.
• Load and unload drills and parts from machines.
• Make minor machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect parts and verify specifications using job cards.
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers, rulers, and scopes.
• Communicate machine status and quality concerns with Setups and Leads.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) (wage range reflects base pay. There is a shift differential of an additional $1.00/hour for 2nd shift)

About the Role

In this role, you will operate grinding machinery and support daily production by loading and unloading parts, monitoring quality, and making minor machine adjustments. This position is ideal for someone who takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and wants to build valuable manufacturing skills in a team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

• Ability to pass a post-offer physical demonstrating essential job functions
• Ability to pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen
