Job summary

Conagra Brands in Louisville, KY is seeking a Machine Operator to operate, monitor and maintain production equipment on a 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM shift. You will help ensure product quality, safety and achievement of production targets as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, and strong teamwork and communication. Overtime may be required as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Shift: 2:00 PM-10:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $23.45 an hour + $0.75 shift differential

Machine Operator - Louisville, KY

Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations at our Louisville, KY facility. You will help ensure product quality, safety, and production targets are met while working as part of a collaborative production team.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery used in the production process to meet established performance standards
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
• Maintain compliance with food safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, and company policies
• Document production data, machine performance, and any issues encountered during shifts
• Support sanitation and cleaning activities to maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding production status and operational concerns
• Assist with changeovers, setup, and adjustments of equipment as needed

Physical Requirements

• Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
