Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Bristol, IN to support high-speed manufacturing operations. The role focuses on startup, operation, and monitoring of multiple machines while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will be able to read blueprints, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and lift up to 50 pounds. The position requires teamwork, independence, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with ERP/MRP and barcode

• Ability to read a blueprint or be trained to read a blueprint.

• Capable of lifting 50 pounds and sliding 100 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
• Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
• Maintain valid forklift/stand-up license - including completion of daily fork truck maintenance log and proper maintenance of equipment.
• Transports materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task.

Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $25.00 - 25.00

What you'll do:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.
• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
• Perform the above within acceptable quality, quantity, performance, and safety standards.
• Maintain valid forklift/stand-up license - including completion of daily fork truck maintenance log and proper maintenance of equipment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP and bar code scanners systems.
• Responsible for maintaining inventory record accuracy through accurate stock transfers and cycle counts.
• Transports materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to pallet jack, forklift, stand-up and/or pac mule.
