Responsibilities:

1. Audit and check for safety issues and follow Equipment Safety Checklist.
2. Follow TPM schedule to properly care for and maintain machinery.
3. Read Blue Prints and Work Instructions to the specified dimensions.
4. Grease, oil, and clean equipment daily.
5. Set up & troubleshoot equipment.
6. Load and run Warner & Swasey's, Acme's, & Chuckers.
7. Check dimensions of parts during run by using necessary measuring instruments.
8. Use ERP system to look up parts and plan production.
9. Perform minor adjustments to machinery to meet specifications.
10. Locate setup bins and layout tools for preset up.
11. Get and dispose of material and scrap to and from work position.
12. Manage job on and off manufacturing orders.
13. Regularly audit 5S checklists and support 5S and safe work practices.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Essential:

• High school diploma or GED, and one year of industrial manufacturing or quality inspection experience.
• Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes).
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to prioritize work and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of statistical tools such as averages, standard deviations, and run-charts.
• Basic communication skills.
• Ability to function independently.
• Customer-focused.
• Self-starter with ownership attitude.
• Safety-conscious with understanding of safety procedures.
• Highly motivated and dependable.
• Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, and processes.
• Familiarity with corrective action - 8D process.
• Familiarity with Plant 3 valve design, assembly, testing.
• Knowledge of Lean and problem-solving methodologies and training.
