Job summary

Burton Mill Solutions in Fountain Inn, SC, is seeking a Machine Operator for 1st shift (Mon-Thu 5a–3p) with overtime potential to join our team. The role reports to the production group and supports the company’s tradition of innovation in steel processing.

You will set up machines, change tooling, read blueprints, perform quality checks, and input data into our ERP System while maintaining accuracy and safety. Excellent teamwork and reliability are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Must be able to do basic math.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and change tooling or saw blades to grind/cut steel.
• Read industrial knife blueprints.
• Perform quality checks and complete SPCs for all assignments.
• Input data into ERP System.
• Wear PPE and work with a high sense of urgency.
• Cross-train to other positions as requested.
