Job summary

Pratt Industries in Houston is seeking a General Utility/Hand Labor on 2nd shift (Mon 1:30PM–11:30PM; Tue–Thu 2:00PM–12:00AM). Pay rate is $16.00/hr. You will support machine setup, operation, cleanup, and troubleshooting while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and production area cleanliness, assisting in training teammates, meeting production schedules, and adapting to shift changes. EOE.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions under limited supervision.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed (training provided).
• Maintain clean work environment and dispose of waste properly.
• Basic PC skills; read a tape measure; perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies; OSHA compliance; follow production guidelines.
• Inspect products/materials to meet quality standards.
• Operate or learn to operate machinery and forklifts; support setup/adjustments and routine maintenance.
• Participate in training to improve skills and productivity.
• Document operational data and report progress; assist with troubleshooting.
