Machine operators operate a blow molding machine efficiently to produce quality plastic parts while following environmental policies to ensure compliance with goals and objectives.

Shift: 1st (8am-4:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor blow molding machine operation and control panel.
• Remove plastic parts manually, using steps or work platforms if required.
• Remove excess plastic (flash) from parts.
• Inspect parts for defects and notify process techs or quality team.
• Weigh parts as per work instructions.
• Allow flash to cool, grind defective parts, and perform secondary operations as instructed.
• Follow work instructions precisely.
• Log shift activities and rejects in the Shop Floor Monitoring System.
• Package parts according to instructions.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and management.
• Perform all tasks following safety and procedural guidelines.
• Ensure work area is clean, organized, and safe.
• Measure finished parts for quality compliance.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment prior to use.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with up to 2 years relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret job specifications and quickly learn production equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Bending, twisting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working in hot/cold environments.
