Production Operator - Winchester, KY

Essential Functions:

1. Maintain strong attendance and adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
2. Manage the process flow for machining and assembly based on specific procedures while accurately completing daily production tracking reports.
3. Conduct quality inspections by measuring part dimensions and performing necessary checks to ensure 100% quality output.
4. Identify abnormal situations and follow proper operating procedures to maintain production quality.
5. Initiate Trouble Reports and participate in investigations, suggesting countermeasures as needed.
6. Approve outgoing inspected parts by labeling boxes with individual packing numbers.
7. Understand and utilize production-related documentation (e.g., PCC, Operation Sheets, SOS, FMEA, Key Point, Kanban, Flow Cards).
8. Check fluid levels in machines and participate in scheduled Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
9. Attend and successfully complete all required operator training for each rank.
10. Strive to meet departmental and company goals, support team members, and maintain a safe working environment.
11. Participate in the Kaizen program and train others as requested.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED for Rank A1 & A2; required for Rank A3 & A4.
2. Additional job-related training such as technical courses, certifications, or seminars is preferred.
3. Good math skills and reasoning ability.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to train others and work in a team-oriented environment.
6. Six months to one year of previous factory/manufacturing experience.
7. Basic mechanical knowledge.
8. Must adhere to a strict safety regimen.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to remain standing for up to 10 hours at a time.
2. Capability to maneuver around the plant, including bending, squatting, and reaching overhead.
3. Good hand strength and dexterity, with the ability to grasp and manipulate objects.
4. Good eyesight, hearing, and speaking voice; ability to lift between 10-40 lbs frequently.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with others.

Shifts:

• 1st shift: 5am-3:30pm, $15/hr
• 2nd shift: 5pm-3:30am, $15.75/hr
