Job summary

ITW in Kansas is seeking a production associate to operate the Mold Release Filling Equipment, print labels, and ensure proper packaging and quality checks.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and forklift operation. Overtime may be required, with adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Windows OS proficiency in a Windows-based environment is preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a plus.
• Reliable and timely attendance required.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mold Release Filling Equipment safely and effectively.
• Print labels using a computer.
• Set up and organize the work area.
• Check lid fit, box compatibility, and skid packaging.
• Follow written instructions on job tickets and perform quality checks.
• Assist and direct temporary personnel as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping standards for the department.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Stand for extended periods and work around heat, cold, or controlled chemicals.

Essential Duties:

• Safe conduct and operation of Mold Release Filling Equipment.
• Ability to use a computer to print labels.
• Proper set up and organization of work area.
• Ability to check lid fit, boxes compatibility, and skid packaging.
• Accurately follow written instructions on job ticket and perform quality checks.
• Help other team members/temps on their line when needed.
• Provide direction to temporary personnel as needed.
• Adherence to all housekeeping standards set for this department.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion.
• Ability to safely and effectively operate a forklift.
• Act in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency within Windows based environment. Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook) is a plus.
• Reliable and timely attendance required.
• Ability to work required overtime as needed.

Work Environment:

• Able to stand to perform duties a majority of the work day aside from designated breaks and lunch.
• Able to work for long periods of time in an environment with exposure to heat, cold, or controlled chemicals.
