Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies in Lansing, NY is seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. This non-CNC position focuses on accurate setup, operation, and documentation for production runs, with an emphasis on following drawings and procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience, strong manual dexterity, and a high school diploma; soldering/assembly knowledge is a plus. We offer PTO, 401(k) with match, health benefits, and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Complete production and test documentation with accuracy.
  • Set-up, operate and maintain shot equipment.
  • Meet production routing times on trained jobs.
  • Assist in training lesser skilled operators.

Machine Operator

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our Lansing, NY team! This is not a CNC/lathe machinist position. Location: Lansing, NY Salary: $18-$20/hour Please note that the hourly range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in NY. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.

Your Challenge
  • Accurately follow and interpret instructions and drawings.
  • Complete production and test documentation with a high level of accuracy.
  • Set-up, operate and maintain shot equipment.
  • Meet production routing times on jobs for which training has been received.
  • Assist in the job training of lesser skilled operators.
