Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inspections, tests and sampling for aerospace manufacturing. You will work with quality and production teams, contributing to quality-controlled product delivery from East Windsor, CT.

The role requires 1–3 years of inspection experience and the ability to read drawings and specifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a culture that supports development and recognition of employee contributions.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical/Trade School preferred.
  • 1–3 years experience in quality inspection.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, parts lists, inspection plans and specification instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Performs inspections, checks, testing and sampling for manufacturing processes using various measuring tools.
  • Inspects incoming aerospace components and raw materials to ensure company standards are met.
  • Conducts final inspections on outgoing components.
  • Prepares product verification documentation.
  • Uses part-marking equipment on incoming aerospace components.
  • Performs component dimensional inspections per customer requirements.

Job description

Inspector The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing a variety of inspections, checks and tests for quality control for the manufacturing of products. The Quality Inspector will have the opportunity to work with the quality and production teams ensuring quality-produced items. The Quality Inspector will be provided with a certain degree of creativity and latitude to solve quality concerns. Location: East Windsor, CT Hours: First shift Hourly rate: $20-$24/hour Please note that the hourly rate range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in CT. Criteria such as the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.

Your Challenge
