Job summary

Job description

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

1. Set up and operate CNC machines, including 3-5 axis milling machines, surface grinding, and lathes.
2. Observe machine operation, follow work instructions, remove parts, separate runners from products, and load inserts as necessary for required jobs.
3. Maintain a basic understanding of injection molding machine controls and parameters.
4. Maintain strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
5. Maintain physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience or 1 year combined experience with appropriate trade school education in grinding, turning, and milling.
• Intermediate math skills.
• Familiarity with Heidenhain controls is desired.
• Ability to utilize electronic and mechanical precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of G & M Codes or basic programming is a plus.
