Job Requirements

Packaging Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Operators are critical to our success at FritoLay! Responsibilities include setting up and operating packaging machines and scales to ensure quality packaging of products. This role offers growth opportunities within FritoLay and PepsiCo.

Key tasks after training include:

1. Set up and operate multiple packaging machines to ensure accurate coding, weights, and proper bagging.
2. Check that products are dated and sealed with minimal waste.
3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
4. Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery.
5. Wear protective gear when cleaning and sanitizing lines during changeovers.
6. Inspect conveyors and scales before start-ups and changeovers.
7. Troubleshoot common problems and make operational adjustments.

This is a physical, 24-hour environment requiring standing for long periods near heavy machinery. Conditions vary with seasons and weather. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits such as 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, educational support, and discounts.
