Job summary

Cardinal Staffing Services is seeking a Machine Operator / Inspector in a light manufacturing setting. You will set up and run injection molding equipment, monitor performance, inspect parts for quality, and document productionacts accurately.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a team-oriented approach. Training is provided, with a day shift and potential overtime based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous machine operation experience preferred.
• Hi-Lo/forklift experience preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic machine troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Machine Operator / Inspector is responsible for setting up and operating injection molding equipment, monitoring machine performance, and inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met. This position works closely with maintenance personnel to support proper machine functionality while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines according to established procedures.


• Work with maintenance personnel to identify equipment issues and help maintain proper machine functionality.


• Inspect finished products for defects and verify that parts meet required quality standards.


• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.


• Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.


• Assist with basic machine troubleshooting when needed.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule and Work Environment

Day shift: 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, four days per week.

Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs.

Light industrial manufacturing environment.

Casual dress code.

Training is provided.
