Surestaff is immediately hiring a Machine Operator in Plainfield, IL. The operator will run site-specific equipment (injection, blow molding or extrusion) and ensure production, quality and safety standards are met.

The role offers day and night shifts (7:00am-3:00pm) with competitive pay of $22/hr and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance. Responsibilities include machine setup, quality testing, troubleshooting, and material handling.

Formación

• Experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operation.
• Blow molding, injection molding or extrusion experience/training preferred (HDPE, PET).
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude essential.
• Willingness to work overtime and additional shifts as needed.
• Experience reading and interpreting production specifications is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare machine for production by positioning dies, stops, guides, and turntables.
• Safely operate thermoforming equipment to produce quality product.
• Read job specifications and run data to determine adjustments and material requirements.
• Ensure job is ready prior to machine setup.
• Perform quality testing on products produced (burst test, drop test, water table test, etc).
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Make corrections to address out-of-spec product.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds during shift.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, or hydraulic issues as applicable.
• Perform material handling procedures as required.

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators in Plainfield, IL. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating site-specific equipment (injection molding, blow molding or extrusion) and meeting all production, quality and safety requirements. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $22/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Day and Night Available. (7:00am-3:00pm)

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

• Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing dies, stops, guides, and turntables.
• Safely and effectively operates thermoforming equipment to produce quality product
• Reads job specifications and previous run data (if available) to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Ensures job is in order prior to machine set-up.
• Performs required quality testing on products produced.
• Performs required quality testing on products produced, i.e. burst test, drop test, water table test, etc.
• Observes machine operation to detect piece defects or machine malfunction.
• Makes corrections to alleviate out of specification product.
• Position will entail standing for long periods of the day and lifting up to 50 pounds during shift.
• Troubleshooting Skills related to mechanical, pneumatic, electrical or hydraulic issues (if applicable)
• Perform material handling procedures as required

Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
• Previous blow molding, Injection or Extrusion experience or related training (HDPE, PET) Industry experience is preferred
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
• Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
