Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Start up and shut down machines as recommended by maintenance.
2. Operate overhead and jib-style cranes.
3. Operate forklift trucks.
4. Operate machines to meet Hawkeye quality standards.
5. Ensure safe and productive operation of machines.
6. Perform preventive maintenance as required.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Previous experience as a machine operator in a similar field.
2. Setup and operate machines such as roll bending, press brake, laser, saws, and plasma cutters.
3. Read and interpret prints independently.
4. Certified crane and forklift operators.
5. Ability to work well in a team environment.
6. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
7. Good housekeeping habits and strict safety adherence.
8. Take pride in quality work and meet deadlines, including overtime when necessary.
9. Willingness to assist in other areas as needed.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work in a manufacturing environment involving industrial machinery and chemicals. Proper use of PPE is required.
