Description

Individuals need to be self-motivated and possess a good work ethic. This job requires problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate and work with others daily.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product being produced by injection molding presses to ensure parts meet customer requirements.
• Read and understand Lomont’s Quality and Operating Procedures and requirements.
• Visually inspect products according to established inspection criteria and operator instructions found in the BOM standard.
• Perform secondary work necessary to finish items or parts before packaging.
• Package and count parts as per packaging instructions.
• Communicate quality issues or concerns to the Shift Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance personnel promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 35 lb boxes to chest height multiple times per hour.
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills to assigned tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal instructions, essential for operator training, quality, and safety.
• Foster good housekeeping and team-building skills daily.
