Job description

Nesco Resource is hiring for a 1st Shift Machine Operator position in Lincolnton, NC!

Position: Machine Operator, Entry End Operator for Tenter Frame

Industry: Textile Finishing and Dyeing Operation

Schedule and Availability

• Work 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime
• Normal schedule is 10 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, and some Fridays
• Currently working 10-hour shifts and some hours on Friday due to production needs

Job Responsibilities

Typically start as a doffer or exit end operator of the finishing department's frame. Responsibilities include:

• Operating Tenter Finishing Frames, measuring, packaging, labeling, and storing fabric rolls
• Using computers to enter measurements of fabric rolls
• Operating forklifts; involves significant lifting

Cross-Training and Additional Opportunities

Employees will be cross-trained in other areas of the Finishing Frame, with potential training as a De-Beamer/Wet Area and Entry End Operator.
