Job summary

Nashville Display in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Machine Operator to run and set up production equipment while expanding your skills in a hands-on environment. You’ll read measurements, use wrenches and basic hand tools, and grow into more responsible roles as you progress.

Starting wage is $18–$20/hour, rising to $22/hour after training, with time-and-a-half overtime and weekly pay. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, PTO, holidays, and attendance bonus.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a hands-on environment using tools and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Experience using wrenches and basic hand tools.
  • Read blueprints and position components to spec.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery and monitor equipment.
  • Set up machines for production runs and perform changeovers.
  • Use wrenches and hand tools to adjust equipment.
  • Read blueprints and take measurements for positioning.
  • Adjust machine settings to production requirements.
  • Perform basic machine programming with measurements.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues to keep equipment running.
  • Prepare finished parts for the next production stage.
  • Maintain an active, hands-on presence around equipment.
  • Learn additional machine setup responsibilities as training progresses.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate production machinery and monitor equipment to maintain efficient production.
  • Set up machines for production runs, including breaking down previous setups and completing changeovers for new jobs.
  • Use wrenches, screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and other basic hand tools to make mechanical adjustments and machine setups.
  • Read blueprints and use measurements to properly position and adjust machine components.
  • Adjust machine settings, distances, lengths, and other specifications based on production requirements.
  • Perform basic machine programming by entering required measurements and settings.
  • Make adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues to keep equipment operating properly.
  • Remove finished parts and materials from machines and prepare them for the next stage of production.
  • Maintain an active, hands-on presence around the equipment throughout the production process.
  • Learn additional machine setup and operating responsibilities as training and experience progress.
