Openwork in High Point, NC is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift. You will set up, operate, and monitor chop line machinery to cut foam blocks, sheets, and components according to production specs.

This role requires reading tape measures, basic math, and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety. You will read work orders, follow schedules, perform routine inspections, and report issues to the Production Supervisor.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate, and monitor chop line machinery used in foam processing
• Cut foam blocks, sheets, and products according to production specifications

MACHINE OPERATOR

Pay: $17

Hours: 1st Shift- 6am until work is complete

A Machine Operator in the foam industry is responsible for operating machinery that continuously cuts foam blocks or buns into specified sizes, sheets, or components for manufacturing and customer orders. This role reports to the Production Supervisor and has no direct reports. In this position, you will:

• Set up, operate, and monitor chop line machinery used in foam processing


• Cut foam blocks, sheets, and products according to production specifications


• Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and cutting instructions


• Measure and inspect foam products to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy


• Adjust machine settings to achieve required cut sizes and production efficiency


• Remove, stack, package, and label finished foam products


• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance


• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
