Charter Next Generation, Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX, is seeking a Machine Operator for full-time direct labor. You will operate production lines, perform setup, shut-downs, and routine maintenance, while ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Document routine inspections on production components.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Collaborate with Material Handlers to manage the production process.

The Role

From machine operators to maintenance technicians to quality inspectors, our teams help protect what matters most—making everyday life safer, smarter, and more sustainable.

Schedule

Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

• 12-hour static shifts (Days 7:00am - 7:00pm) OR (Nights 7:00pm-7:00am)

What You'll Do

• Responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines which include but are not limited to the following tasks:
  • Shut-down, start-up, switchovers, order preparation, production, and routine maintenance.
  • Effectively analyze process control charts to monitor and/or correct production related problems.
  • Recognizing and troubleshooting visual defects in the film being produced.
  • Conducting and documenting routine inspections on a variety of production related components.
  • Utilizing sound judgment in reducing and eliminating production of scrap material.
• Working cooperatively with Material Handlers to efficiently manage production process
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Perform all duties following standard operating procedures and safety requirements.
