Job summary

Charter Next Generation is seeking a production operator to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. You will operate and monitor production lines, perform routine maintenance, and help ensure product quality while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate production lines, including shut-down/start-up, switchover, order preparation, production, and routine maintenance.
• Analyze process control charts to monitor and correct production problems.
• Identify and troubleshoot visual defects in film.
• Conduct and document routine inspections on production components.
• Reduce and eliminate scrap material.
• Work cooperatively with Material Handlers to manage the production process.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements.

The Role

From machine operators to maintenance technicians to quality inspectors, our teams help protect what matters most—making everyday life safer, smarter, and more sustainable.

Schedule

Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule.

• Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
• Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
• 12‑hour static shifts (Day 7:00am‑7:00pm) or (Night 7:00pm‑7:00am)

What You’ll Do

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly – Rate based on experience.

• Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential.
