PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Machine Operator - Level 1 for the 2nd shift in Freeport, IL. You will operate and monitor injection and compression machines, troubleshoot issues, and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements include a High School Diploma and the ability to lift 30 pounds. Candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a safe, clean work area.

Job Type: Full Time; Contract

Location: Freeport, IL

Schedule: 2nd Shift - 2:30pm-11pm

Pay Rate: $22.5

What You'll Do:

As a Machine Operator, you will have a direct impact on the production of essential products used in industries across the globe. You’ll be responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting various injection and compression machines. Here’s what your day will look like:

• Monitor machinery to ensure smooth production processes for electrical safety products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and production efficiency.
• Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Use your creative problem-solving skills to contribute to process improvements.
• Ensure quality by performing visual inspections, hand trimming parts, and using measurement tools to verify product specifications.

Pay Details: $22.50 per hour
