Job summary

Staffmark Group is actively seeking a Machine Operator in Crystal Lake, IL, to operate lamination equipment on a night shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM). The role offers $25.00–$35.00 per hour with weekly pay within a safety-focused manufacturing environment.

You will monitor product quality, follow production schedules, and support the team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining documentation and material pull sheets for upcoming jobs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass pre-employment reading and ruler tests.
• Minimum 1 year of lamination, coating, or extrusion machine operating experience.
• Ability to read a ruler or tape measure to 1/16.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Stand, walk, and reach throughout shift; bend, kneel, stretch.
• Comfortable around chemicals and strong odors.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate lamination equipment while maintaining production and quality standards.
• Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Complete daily housekeeping logs and production documentation.
• Direct and support machine helpers during production.
• Follow production schedules and run orders.
• Complete all required paperwork for each production order.
• Prepare material pull sheets for upcoming jobs.
• Place or direct helpers to place color-coded flags during roll changes.
• Check adhesive basis weights at the end of each production roll.
• Ensure finished rolls are properly labeled before inventory.
• Complete inventory documentation for finished materials.
• Communicate material and supply needs to the Lamination Supervisor.
• Assist with additional production duties as assigned.
