Job summary

Quick Quack Car Wash seeks a skilled Machine Operator experienced with laser cutting, plasma tables, hydraulic press brakes, metal saws, and metal preparation tools. Trumpf laser experience is strongly preferred. You will work in a dynamic production environment where precision, speed, and teamwork matter daily.

This role requires reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and maintaining equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing operating industrial machines.
• Direct experience with Trumpf or similar laser cutting systems.
• Skilled in operating press brakes, metal saws, and using grinders and deburring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written work instructions.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Dependable, motivated, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Trumpf laser cutting machines or similar systems to cut metal accurately and efficiently.
• Run and monitor plasma tables, hydraulic press brakes, metal saws, grinders, and deburring tools for part processing and finishing.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and fabrication drawings to ensure parts are made to spec.
• Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) to confirm tolerances.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting to reduce downtime.
• Assist in material prep, handling, and maintaining an organized work area.
• Work closely with team leads and fellow operators to maintain daily production goals.
• Follow strict safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• If you are tasked to drive as a part of this role, then it is required that you have a clean driving record and a current Driver's License that is not suspended or expired.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
