Linked, LLC in Fraser, MI is seeking a Trumpf 5-Axis Laser Operator for 2nd shift to set up, program, and operate 5-axis laser cutting equipment in a sheet metal shop. The role requires experience with Trumpf systems, TruTops software, blueprints, and precision measurement tools.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be able to read GD&T, interpret CAD drawings, and work with ERP systems. This is a contract-to-hire full-time position with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience programming and operating Trumpf 5-axis laser systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate Trumpf 5-axis laser cutting machines.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean.
• Record production information using the company's ERP system.
• Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve production concerns.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Shift: Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM | Saturday, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM(as needed)Typically 55 hours per week
Pay: $22.00–$28.00/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Trumpf 5-Axis Laser Operator to set up, program, and operate advanced 3D laser cutting equipment in a sheet metal manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for producing high-precision parts while ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with Trumpf 5-axis laser systems, TruTops software, blueprint reading, and precision measuring equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing environment supporting sheet metal production.
• Frequent interaction with laser cutting equipment and production machinery.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
• Overtime and Saturday work may be required based on production needs.
