Job summary

Richardson, at the Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility, seeks a Machine Operator to join our food manufacturing team. You will operate packaging equipment, ensure correct weights and codes, and maintain downtime documentation.

The role requires routine maintenance, quality checks, and proactive continuous improvement efforts. The position offers weekend/holiday overtime and a competitive hourly wage starting at $21.50/hour with full benefits.

We currently have an opportunity for a Machine Operator at our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment according to product specifications and ensur e accuracy in weights and codes
• Maintain proper documentation of downtime and repairs.
• Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance work on equipment
• Continually check the quality of the product, packaging, and case printing according to standard operating procedures and policies , and report any issues
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment at all times
• P roactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications

• A ble to work weekends, holidays and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• E xperience operating machines
• Experience in a food manufacturing facility

Shift & Schedule

Shift: 5:30am-4pm or 4pm-2:30am Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday

Starting pay: $21.50/hr
