We currently have an opportunity for aMaintenance Workerat ourCarrington, NDdurum milling and pasta production facility, where we produceDakota Growers pasta.Responsibilities:Assistwith preventative and predictive maintenance on process systemsincludingmill, production, packaging, utility, and other facility equipmentPartner with operations to troubleshoot issues on process systems,utilizingmachine manuals and schematicsAssistwithmaintainingutility operationsincludingboilers, compressors, vacuum pumps, watersupplyand HVAC systemsDocument work(PM checklists, work orders, permits, etc.) and maintain GMPs, safety and food safety standardsPartner with company leadership to proactivelyidentifyand execute on continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and sanitationQualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent from and accredited institution and one of the following:Two-year associates degree or higher in technical field (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, electro-mechanical, controls and automation, etc.) or equivalentMilitary training and experience in a relevant Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)2+ years of hands-on experience in a mechanic, maintenance, electrical, electro-mechanical, controls and automation, or related roleExperience with basic carpentry, plumbing, welding, metal work, and fabricationAble to work weekends, holidays, and overtimePreferred Qualifications:Maintenance experience in a food manufacturing facilityExperience reading blueprints and schematicsExperience with MIG, TIG, and stick weldingExperience with power transmission components such as belt drives, chain drives, bearings, motors & gearsExperience with drill presses, lathes, Bridgeport-type millsExperience with operation and maintenance of forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulated liftsPhysical Requirements:Qualified candidates must be able toperformthe following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:Crouch, stoop, kneel, reach above shoulders, bend, balance, climb, work on ladder, push, pull, grasp, feel, perform fine manipulation, operate foot pedals, lift/carry, sit, stand and walk for extended periodsWork in dusty, high heat/humidity, and cold environments, and confined spacesWear a respirator as neededMake fine distinctions by soundCommunicate verbally and in writing, and distinguish objects or equipment visuallyShift: 9pm-7:30amSchedule: Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-SaturdayStarting Pay: $26/hr
