Job summary

Volt is seeking a Machine Operator in Carlsbad, CA to operate, maintain, and prepare 3D MJF printers and processing stations for production. You will ensure parts are cleaned, powder-free, and meet quality standards while collaborating with project technicians and leads.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, manufacturing experience, 1–3 years preferred, and strong attention to detail. Monday–Friday shifts, pay $21.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.

  • Able to pass a drug test and a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and prepare 3D MJF printers, processing stations, and build units for production.

  • Perform media blasting and post-processing tasks according to job sheets and drawings.
  • Inspect parts for quality, verify features, and identify defects.
  • Report equipment issues and notify leads of any questionable parts.
  • Maintain equipment, media levels, and a clean work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and promote a positive team environment.
  • Assist with various production activities and other duties as assigned.

Summary

Operate and maintain printers, perform basic maintenance, prepare machines for production, and media blast printed parts according to job specifications. Ensure parts are properly cleaned, powder‑free, and meet quality standards.

Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime may be required)

Days: Monday through Friday

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
