Adecco US, Inc. is recruiting for Machine Operators to join the 2nd or 3rd shift production team in Albion, IN. You will operate one or more complex machines to produce standardized parts and assist with set-ups, while checking parts for dimensional and finished specifications and maintaining SPC records.

Required duties include load and adjust tooling, identify wear or malfunctions, inspect quality with gauges, and perform daily machine maintenance. Basic math and computer skills are needed.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; mechanical/ machining background preferred.
• Fundamental machine shop knowledge and ability to read drawings.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills and attention to quality control and SPC basics.

Mansioni

• Load machines and perform routine tool adjustments to meet print specs and SPC limits.
• Remove and reset tooling; adjust machines to correct variances.
• Identify tool wear and machine issues; replace worn or broken tools as needed.
• Maintain fixtures and clamping devices free of chips.
• Check own work using gauges and measuring instruments for quality.

• Complete daily machine maintenance.

Adecco has partnered with a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies recruiting for Machine Operators to join the 2nd or 3rd shift production team in Albion, IN. In this role, you will operate one or more complex machines to produce a variety of standardized parts and assist with set‑ups, check parts produced for dimensional and finished specifications and maintain SPC documentation.

Additional Duties:

• Load machines, make routine or repetitive tool adjustments, including but not limited to taps, drills, pre-set tooling, etc., in order to maintain print specifications and Statistical Process Control (SPC) limits.

• Remove and reset tooling, reset and adjust machine as directed to correct variances

• Recognize and identify tool wear, machine malfunction, dimensional deviation and replace worn or broken tools as needed

• Replace and adjust tooling if machine wipes out

• Keep fixtures and clamping devices clear of chips

• Responsible for quality and checking of own work, requiring the use of simple and complex gauging and measuring instruments

• Work from part drawings, specification sheets and operating instructions

• Complete daily maintenance of machines

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Requires a fundamental knowledge of machine shop practices, usually acquired through on-the-job training and experience

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Requires basic computer skills

• Requires basic math skills

Ability to read and interpret required paperwork with high degree of accuracy

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Documented or demonstrated mechanical skills or machining background

Pay Details:

$18.00 per hour
