Volm Companies is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to ensure machines operate correctly on the C Shift in Idaho Falls, ID. The role involves maintaining equipment, understanding manufacturing processes, and applying basic electrical and welding skills.

You will work with MMS software, prioritize tasks, and operate lifts while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Salary is hourly and based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Diploma.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and basic electrical safety is preferred.
• Able to operate machine-centered equipment and read instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machines to ensure correct operation.
• Understand manufacturing equipment and how it works.
• Perform basic electrical safety and fix common electrical issues.
• Weld and fabricate with safety awareness.
• Operate milling machine and band saw.
• Maintain clean work area and tools.
• Utilize MMS software as part of maintenance activities.
