Itafos in Idaho is seeking a maintenance technician to execute safe repair and troubleshooting of rotating equipment, including pumps, gear boxes, conveyors, and related machinery. The role covers routine work, outages, and turnarounds within a high-performance plant environment.

The ideal candidate brings mechanical skills, strong safety leadership, and the ability to document repairs, manage work orders, and collaborate across teams.

Qualificações

• Two years of vocational/technical school in rotating equipment or machining, or 5+ years in maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience rebuilding pumps, conveyor systems, rotating drums, gear boxes.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment types: pumps, gear boxes, conveyors, compressors, rotating drums.
• Ability to read, understand and apply procedures and policies; willing to attend training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ownership mindset.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Be a strong safety leader and drive continuous safety improvement on site.
• Work safely and follow procedures and safe work practices.
• Record equipment history, document repairs, and create work orders with computer tools.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors and internal departments.
• Engage in site safety programs and culture.
• Be punctual and support a high-performance safety culture.
• Work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
• Perform tasks in all plant areas with required PPE; climb stairs as needed.
• Complete progression training as required to timelines.
• Operate crane, manlift and forklift.
• Respond to plant needs including outages and turnarounds during shifts.
