Job summary

Elmer Chocolate in Ponchatoula, LA is seeking a maintenance technician to service robotic production and packaging equipment. The role includes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, changeovers, and ongoing improvements to keep the lines running smoothly.

This position offers weekly pay, DOE compensation, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, paid vacation, and a 401(k). Must be 18+, pass drug and background checks, and be able to work overtime and weekends.

• Assesses needs regarding maintenance, spare parts, modernization, and process improvement.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand & walk for long periods of time
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, use force, carry, push/pull, and lift <50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to apply manual dexterity and specified visual acuity
