You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, perform routine maintenance, and document activities while adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of machine maintenance or industrial repair experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or trade school training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on various manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Inspect machines for wear, damage, or malfunction and determine necessary repairs.
  • Replace or rebuild defective components such as motors, bearings, gears, and pumps.
  • Support production teams by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, parts usage, and inspections.
  • Assist with the setup, relocation, and installation of new machinery.
  • Perform basic fabrication or modification of parts when needed.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

Position Overview

The Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of production machinery and equipment. This role plays a critical part in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
  • Basic computer skills for logging and tracking maintenance activities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or trade school training preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and climbing

Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
