Job summary

Champion Personnel System is seeking an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician in Willoughby Hills, OH for a 2nd shift direct-hire role. You will troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including conveyors, packaging, motors, sensors, and electrical components.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems and make repairs independently
• Experience with motors, sensors, wiring, and production machinery
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Comfortable working in both warm and refrigerated production areas
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot production and packaging equipment including conveyors, bagging/sealing, grading, and vacuum packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, complete repairs, test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Work independently to identify and fix breakdowns, keep equipment running efficiently, and assist with parts inventory and basic facility maintenance.
• Read blueprints/schematics and follow electrical/mechanical drawings to diagnose problems and implement fixes.

Machine Maintenance Technician – $30–$36/hr | Direct HireWilloughby Hills, OH | 2nd Shift | Direct HireAre you an experienced Maintenance Technician who is strongest when you're troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing equipment?We're hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with an established food production and packaging operation in Willoughby Hills.This isn't a position where you'll spend your entire shift doing basic PMs. We're looking for someone with solid mechanical and electrical skills who can identify problems, make repairs, and keep production equipment running.Pay & Schedule$30–$36/hour, based on experience2nd Shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–SaturdayThis is a direct-hire position with full benefits. Overtime may be available/required based on production needs.What You'll Be Working OnYou'll maintain and troubleshoot a variety of production and packaging equipment, including:- Conveyors

• Bagging and sealing equipment
• Grading equipment
• Vacuum packaging equipment
• Motors, sensors, wiring, and electrical components
• Other production and material-handling equipment

You'll handle bothmechanical and electrical troubleshooting,complete repairs, test equipment after repairs, and perform preventative maintenance to help minimize downtime.What a Typical Shift Looks LikeYou'll start your shift by walking the production floor and checking in with operators to identify equipment issues or concerns.From there, you'll have the opportunity to work fairly independently — troubleshooting breakdowns, making repairs, completing preventative maintenance, and keeping equipment operating efficiently.You'll also help maintain parts inventory and occasionally assist with basic facility maintenance.What We're Looking For- Previous industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
