Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Sanford, NC is seeking a Machine Loader to support fabrication operations.

You will load/unload heavy metal components, position parts in holding fixtures, and assist machinists while keeping the fabrication area clean and safe in a fast-paced environment. This role starts at $20.20 per hour with an 8% shift premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus a comprehensive benefits package from Day 1 and the potential for a quarterly bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Overhead Hoists or Overhead Cranes.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload and position heavy fabrication metal components in holding fixtures using lifting devices.
• Assist Machinists or Welders with certain processes.
• Maintain Fabrications area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow documented procedures, standard work, routings and blueprints.
