Caterpillar Inc. in Sanford, NC is seeking a Machine Loader to support fabrication operations.

You will load/unload heavy metal components, position parts in holding fixtures, and assist machinists while keeping the fabrication area clean and safe in a fast-paced environment. Caterpillar is looking for candidates that want to build a career. Position includes a starting wage of $20.20/hour (+ 8% Shift Premium for 2nd & 3rd Shifts), quarterly goal sharing program and a comprehensive benefit program that begins on Day 1.

Position is located in Sanford, NC. No relocation benefits are available.

Shift Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:15 am - 2:15 pm

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:15 pm - 10:15 pm

3rd Shift: Sunday night-Friday morning 10:15 pm - 6:15 am

Overtime as business needs require.

Starting pay rates:

1st Shift: $20.20/hour
2nd & 3rd Shifts: $21.82/hour (includes 8% shift premium)

This position provides fabrications support activities including loading robots and/or machining centers as well as ensuring cleanliness of the area.

As a Machine Loader at Caterpillar, you will:

Load/unload and position heavy fabrication metal components in holding fixtures using lifting devices

Maintain Fabrications area in a clean and orderly condition
Follow documented procedures, standard work, routings and blueprints

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with Overhead Hoists OR Overhead Cranes

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Willing and able to perform repetitive operation
Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
