Job summary

International Paper in Roanoke, VA is hiring a Machine Helper for an hourly full-time role from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The position involves checking quality, operating backups, feeding boards into machines, and other duties within a manufacturing plant.

Expect responsibilities such as stacking bales, filling top/bottom sheets, mounting dies, maintaining housekeeping, and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Counting and stacking finished product per work order.
• Reading factory orders and performing associated checks.
• Frequent lifting and carrying within listed weight limits.
• Prolonged standing and repetitive manual tasks required.

Responsibilities

• Check quality

• Inspection, counting and bundling of items
• Reporting all deficiencies to the operator immediately
• Stacking of neat bales per work order specification
• Filling out top sheets per work order specification
• Obtaining and proper use of top and bottom sheets
