Job summary

Southeastern Paperboard, Inc. is seeking skilled Machine Technician/Operator and assistants to support manufacturing operations. You will help ensure equipment runs efficiently and produces high-quality products, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience operating manufacturing equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This in-person, full-time position offers 2nd and 3rd shifts with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with HMI software (preferred).
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience (preferred).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly.
• Stand, walk, bend, and twist regularly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate paper coating and/or rewinder machinery
• Monitor machine performance and inspect product quality
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas
• Collaborate with maintenance to improve equipment reliability
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
• Handle and stage paper rolls using computerized systems
• Load and unload materials safely
• Operate forklifts as needed
• Perform routine equipment inspections
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
