Job summary

System One is seeking a M365 Security Engineer for a remote, U.S.-based contract role (Eastern or Central time). You will design and deliver Microsoft 365 and Azure security Solutions, migrate tenants, configure Entra ID, implement passwordless auth, and manage Defender suites.

Applicants should have 5+ years in Microsoft cloud infrastructure, hands-on migration experience, and deep knowledge of Intune, Purview, and Graph automation.

Qualifications

• Five or more years delivering Microsoft cloud infrastructure in a consulting, managed services, or enterprise engineering capacity.
• Demonstrated ownership of at least three end-to-end Microsoft 365 or Azure migration projects.
• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows endpoint management.
• Working knowledge of Azure IaaS: VMs, storage, networking, backup.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Purview data protection and Defender suites.
• PowerShell and Microsoft Graph proficiency for automation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assess client environments and design solutions that meet objectives.
• Lead or participate in Microsoft tenant migrations: various modes.
• Configure and remediate Microsoft Entra ID and related security controls.
• Deploy passwordless authentication and Windows Hello for Business.
• Modernize endpoint management with Intune and Autopilot.
• Implement Purview data protection and Defender suites.
• Manage and troubleshoot identity, data protection, and device management issues.
• Deliver design documents, runbooks, and migration plans.
