Nelnet, Inc. seeks a skilled M365 Engineer to administer and govern SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, and Azure services in a modern workplace environment.

You will enable collaboration, automate workflows, and support Copilot readiness while maintaining security and governance across the platform. You will partner with security, networking, and service desk teams to ensure reliability and compliance, leveraging PowerShell and Graph APIs for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment
• Experience governing SharePoint Online and related workloads
• Experience with Viva, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Fabric or similar platforms
• Experience supporting Azure services for Modern Workplace solutions
• Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, Graph API, REST, JSON)
• Knowledge of MFA, CA, DLP, retention and information governance

Responsibilities

• Administer and govern SharePoint Online, Viva, Power Platform, Fabric, and Azure services with emphasis on governance and reliability
• Support content collaboration, permissions, and information governance across workloads
• Identify automation and digital transformation opportunities using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Provide Copilot readiness, adoption, and governance support
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Graph API, REST, JSON, and related tools
• Maintain technical write-ups, runbooks, and onboarding materials
