Job summary

Southern Company is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer/Administrator to govern and optimize Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and AI-enabled solutions across the enterprise. The role emphasizes secure, scalable, and compliant adoption, with focus on Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and related services.

The position supports hybrid work and requires onsite presence four days per week at Georgia Power or Alabama Power headquarters, depending on location, to align with

Qualifications

• Extensive experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and governance.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize Microsoft 365 and AI-powered solutions.
• Strong knowledge of security, compliance controls, and data protection in enterprise platforms.
• Experience integrating 365 apps with Power Platform and AI services for automation.
• Experience with enterprise search, knowledge management, and information retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and optimization of Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform, and related tools.
• Oversee lifecycle of AI, automation, and productivity solutions with governance and security.
• Develop deployment, monitoring, and operational procedures for platform health and cost optimization.
• Provide Tier 3 support, root cause analysis, and documentation for platforms and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption, training, and ROI.
