Job summary

M365connect is seeking an experienced Microsoft AI Engineer for a fully remote, long-term role. You will drive AI-driven automations using Copilot Studio, Foundry, and Power Automate across MS 365, Azure, and Power Platform.

Responsibilities include design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement, with mentoring and coordination of outsourced contributors. You will work directly on configuring environments, governance, cost control, and secure access, while aligning

Qualifications

• Experience delivering production solutions using Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, and Power Automate.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot and business workflows.
• Experience building AI agents connected to data, tools, and APIs.
• Experience evaluating AI outputs and handling unreliable results.
• Experience with Power Automate cloud flows, connectors, approvals, and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, permissions, authentication, and secure credentials.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AI assistants using Copilot Studio and Foundry.
• Identify opportunities for Microsoft 365 Copilot in workflows.
• Connect AI solutions to business knowledge while respecting data boundaries.
• Develop Power Automate workflows with validation, monitoring, and recovery.
• Integrate Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Dataverse, Graph, and external APIs.
• Implement custom connectors or supporting code as needed.
• Evaluate AI output quality, grounding, and cost considerations.
• Establish human review steps for automated actions.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, and Power Platform environments.
• Configure and manage GitHub-connected Power Platform solutions.
• Manage lifecycle across development, testing, and production.
